How Scanner Hub handles permissions, app data, and your privacy.
Scanner Hub only requests the device permissions it needs to power its features, such as camera access for scanning and storage access for saving your files. Your documents remain your responsibility, and we use them only to provide scanning, OCR, enhancement, sharing, and backup features.
Scanner Hub asks for device permissions only when they're required for a specific feature. You can allow, deny, or change any of these permissions at any time from your device settings.
Camera access lets you scan documents, receipts, IDs, notes, and other paper content. The camera is only activated when you choose to capture or scan something inside the app.
Photo and storage access lets you import existing images for scanning, save exported files, and manage documents on your device. The app only accesses the files needed for the action you select.
Internet access may be used for account features, cloud backup, OCR processing, app updates, and customer support. Some features may not be fully available without a connection.
We may process document images, recognized text, basic device diagnostics, and general usage information to keep Scanner Hub reliable and to improve performance. Please only upload or share files you have permission to share.
Scanner Hub may rely on trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, cloud storage, or payments. These providers handle data according to their own privacy practices.
We do not sell your personal documents. Data is only shared when necessary to provide app features, comply with legal obligations, prevent misuse, or complete an action you've requested.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect app data. You're also responsible for securing your own device, account credentials, exported files, and any cloud storage you connect.
Scanner Hub is not intended for use by children without guidance from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
You can manage app permissions from your device settings, delete exported files from your device or cloud storage at any time, and choose when and with whom to share scanned documents.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our features, legal requirements, or business practices change. Updates will be posted on this page along with the date they take effect.
